I was wondering why a KH general ,with the trait that says hes from Sparta, Finishes the Agoge. But on the battle map hes got the same skin as the other KH generals and not one of the spartans, WHY?

RTW engine limitations. All of a faction's family members must have the same skin, nothing we can do about it.

Because the default is the elite hoplites - we can specify the bodyguard for the guys who are of age at the start of the game, but anyone who comes of age or into the family tree *after* the game starts has to have the default instead of the spartans. We could have left them all the elite hoplites, but we thought it would be nice to give areus and the starting spartans those guys instead.
I understand. It would be very cool to see those Generals as Spartans.
Only possible(in a limited sense) in Alexander.exe.
But, like TA said, only for "of age" people at the beginning of the game.
In Alex.exe its possible to make a certain general have their own skin.
I had been wondering what happened with the different bodyguard units that the KH seemed to have. I actually thought the Marian reforms had hit early on! However, Xanthippos(the Spartan mercenary general for Carthage), has Spartans for his bodyguard. I guess that was included by special script, though. Still pretty neat.![]()
