Killing characters via console

How do you kill characters that are becoming a problem or cause CTDs or are ghost characters via console command? There is a kill_character command used by the script, but it does not seem to be usable by human players. Assuming I know the ingame name of the character being killed, is there any way to take down that character with a line of text?

I think you may be able to do it by entering a line in the EBBS running the script and then if he's dead save and exit and remove that line from the script.

Well, I'm really asking for Sassem, who tried that and CTDed. So I guess that means a game has to be abandoned just like that? :(

Well if he tried to kill off that invisible twin in his report anything could have hapenned... That's really something that I'm 90% sure is not connected with EB and is something very rare.
