Default Interest in an Election Game

I'm looking at putting together an election style game where people can form parties and debate topics. They would attempt to become President, or at least get their favoured party into office. I would run the game based on a fictional location with fictional voting (though one of the places would be your fellow Orgahs).

But yeah, I know it may not sound like much now, but I am putting the game rules together now and it is looking very doable. I am just wondering if anyone would be willing to participate. It would probably not be a huge commitment, though obviously the more committed you are the better your chances of winning would be.

    So yeah... that's it...

Hmm, I'm in, just as long as we can keep it fairly civilized.

Sounds like an interesting idea. One question.

Are there going to be Youtube debates?

I ask because it's usually something like that which causes outbursts like this, needless to say I dissagree completely.

Why did the chicken cross the road?

So that its subjects will view it with admiration, as a chicken which has the daring and courage to boldly cross the road,
but also with fear, for whom among them has the strength to contend with such a paragon of avian virtue? In such a manner is the princely
    chicken's dominion maintained. ~Machiavelli

Hmm, just occured to me. Are we going to be running for President of some fictional country we just make up, or are we going to be doing an existing country? The first post doesn't clarify.
