Hi guys,
I've been reading this forum for months, as I am a MTW fan: the RTW&MTW2 map system sucks hard. I prefer the MTW chess-type map.
Now: I've been playing vanilla and VI for long, then I tried out the XL mod and I found it awesome and really flawless. Now, after playing with almost all factions on hard/expert I was looking for some new action. I've installed Pikes & Muskets and I found it with really low quality. I've tried to install Napoleonic Total War but the application never even opened. Now my question: I've read here some times ago about a mod that allowed you only to build a few units in every province, not the full roster, and this thing was making everything really harder.
- Any of you can tell me the mod's name and the download url? How is the quality of that mod? Comparable with XL?
- Any of you had the same problems I had with NTW? Is it worth trying to reistall it? Is it flawless?!?
- Any of you have found pikes & muskets bugged as I did?!?

Caravel just beats me to the answer! Yes, sure sounds like Medmod to me, and it's a good one. Also look at the BKB Super Mod ( http://www.atomicgamer.com/file.php?id=35039 ) for even more variety (v2.1 update: http://www.mizus.com/files/files/MTW...0Patch6-07.exe ).

-Edit: I almost forgot, eldiablo80 you may want to have a look at the Shogun mod there is a forum for it in the hosted mod section for MTW.

Yeah, that's almost certainly Wes' MedMod. He institued the "Homeland" system, in which factions can only train their unique units in their core provinces (so you won't see Ghazi Infantry being trained in Ireland).
