CTD Starting new campaign, can still load old ones

Hey, Happy Holidays!

Basically, the issue I'm finding is that while I can still load all my older campaigns, I can't seem to start a new one. No matter which Faction I choose, it pretty instantly CTD. Just curious to see if anyone out there has encountered this. In the interim, anyone got a fresh Arche Seleukeia save game?

Have you changed anything, like running off the BI.exe or ALX.exe?

Try to rename all map.rwm files to something else. The game should generate them anew if they're not there, and there may be some inconsistencies if you have made any changes since it was last generated.

Been running it off BI.exe without an issue for a few months now.

I tried your suggestion Bovi, no more CTD, just boots me back to the "Single Player Game Type" menu.

Have you ever started a new game on the BI.exe? Or are all of your games started on RTW and continued on BI?

When you quit the game after attempting to start the game, do you get an error message? Please verify that the shortcut has the -show_err switch. At any rate a fresh installation of EB should do the trick.
