Thread: Building a settlement on Corsica?
timdickins 05:24 01-06-2008
Is it possible to build a settlement on Corsica? In the game you can't land on the island but there are areas that are "medium fertility" or "high fertility".

you need to edit map for it. make it passable, add new province with settlement, edit text files properly. Check tutorial about making new campaign map in scriptorium.

How do you make it passable? I edited everything the way your supposed to...

It's got a cliff around it - the yellow pixels in map_features.tga - just paint them black and you should be able to get on the island.

You'll need to change the mountains & dense forest on map_ground_types.tga to something else as well, for the areas you want to be passable. And remember to delete your map.rwm......

Thank you, but no thank you. The private message function won't be necessary as I would rather post here. Best wishes, Marat

A "Panzy" is a flower! A "Panzy" is also someone who baits people?

I believe that your exclamation mark and your question mark must be misplaced in your most recent post. Either way, your last post was nonsensical. Marat

Out of respect for the original poster, and for all the users of this forum, please use the private message function if you wish to communicate privately, and stay on topic in threads.

It's sad to see, and petty for .org patrons to be trolling like this.
