    Default Mod Folder. CTD

Ok, i decide it is about time for me to put narnia total war into a mod folder.

After about and hour or two of work i decide to test it and it turns out that the campaing map is working fine but whenever I try to play a custom battle i get a CTD .

I was wondering does anyone know what might be causing this .

I am no expert on this. But it you look in custom_locations in the data file, each location has coordinates associated with it. I think these coordinates might be relative to locations in the vanilla campaign and some are therefore invalid for your new campaign map. For example, one might be over the sea. I may be completely wrong, but that's my best guess.

If map is smaller and the locations go off the edge of the new map I think it will crash, I've played ones where the location ends up in the sea, the army just drowns = battle over

its funny but not useful, and not the answer to making naval battles!

Did you find if that was the solution to the problem btw?

You may also need to place a map.rwm generated from your campaign into the base folder.
