I'm working on one particular off-site forum. We may get a few from there.

Ave, players!
Think REALLY hard of one name who isn't on our list and who you'd like to get a chance tokillplay with.
PERSONALLY RECRUIT THAT PERSON.![]()
We have enough, but the ratio of roles would be a notch better with 85 or so.![]()
No delays, we start as scheduled, but grab someone if you can.

...obviously I mean that figuratively.

I really shoudn't, don't have the time for a gargantuan mafia game. But Gah! I can't bear the pressure anymore. So:
I'm in.

Plus I was made an offer I couldn't refuse...
Tosa wants to be in?
Names, secret names
But never in my favour
But when all is said and done
It's you I love
TosaInu was personally invited by private message. He -- VERY politely -- refused.

Well, I'd bet you would have to change the history if that happened.

Look CA, I appreciate the effort, but...if I might suggest...it would have been a little less harsh on your liver if this "off-site forum" WASN'T your local pub.Originally Posted by CountArach

I am going to be out of town from Sunday, Feb 3 to Thurs, Feb 7. I may have internet access while I am gone, but I don't know for sure. If I don't, I won't be able to post until Feb 7th. How will this starting inactivity impact me?
You would miss the Day 1, Night 1, and Day 2 phases. With Capo I as a guide, this would suggest that few decisive events will occur on day or night 1, and that Day 2 is hard to predict [1st lynch] unless some mafioso has gaffed.
While events may not have progressed far, team building will almost certainly have begun.
If you have at least limited access, especially for PM purposes, that may suffice, but skipping the initial phases entirely could leave you "odd one out."
Of course, that might be an advantage....

I just checked and it seems I will have internet access, so ignore my query.
I can't wait for this game. I want to have a role.

Tincow, you're now added in.
Caius:
EVERY player has a role -- by definition. Sorry, couldn't resist.![]()
Remember though, if you start as a townie, there is no need for you to finish as one. YOU can control your fate with a little luck and some good play.
In Capo-I, we had two townies promoted to Doctor, 1 townie who made it all the way up to Made Gangster, and one unattached WiseGuy who ended up as a Don of one of the mafia families!

Ja Mata, Tosa.

It may be frail; its roof may shake; the wind may blow through it; the storm may enter; the rain may enter; but the King of England cannot enter – all his force dares not cross the threshold of the ruined tenement! - William Pitt the Elder
