    Default COlor of buildings?

Why are all the Japanese buildings blue and the Chinese buildings orange/yellow?

In East Asian culture, blue represents heaven while orange/yellow represents earth. Orange/yellow is a color reserved for royalty/imperial family only, so I don't see why all the Chinese buildings have this color...

This is an Oriental-themed "FANTASY" mod.

The problem is, I see this a lot...even in Age of Empires 3....people think that the Japanese only built blue religious buildings and the Chinese only built orange imperial buildings...

And the fact the mod even uses those two colors - blue and orange in the first place means it's somewhat rooted in history and not entirely fantasy. I really want to see more black and green roofs...which is what people commonly used.

wouldn't you rather have the team work on more pressing matters like bug fixes etc than the colour of roofs?

Well, how hard is it to change the color of the roofs?

It's a matter of about an hour of work.
    I'll think about it.
