Humour Room?

Just an idle thought of mine but what if there was a room that was for war related humour, you know like my threads, but know we have a room for those that can mock events that have happened, like Germany attacking Russia, no one does that unless their name is Gengis Khan, or Poland charging Panzers with Horses, or Roman stupidity at Cannae (not trying to take away Hannibal's brilliance, but only stupid short Romans can be fooled so easily)

So yeah, that is just a thought that I had in my spare time which as suddenlly accumulated since holidays started, so I tend to get ideas, some stupid, so actually worthwhile, I guess only time will tell which one this is

Well, time won't tell you anything besides the time: it just flows. Hell, I'd even argue time is just a human concept, but I suppose this thread (and the forum) ain't there for such discussions, heheheh!

I don't really know of your threads exactly, and it is possible I'm not the only one. I would advise you to put up some links. In any case, from what I read here you want a forum about war-related humour...? A forum where we can joke around about wars of the past? Possibly in the direction of "black humour" and sarcasm?

At first thought I would think the Frontroom fit for it, but on second thought not. Maybe the Monastery...? Maybe not. I think it is a decent suggestion (that should have been put into the Watchtower). If such a forum would be created, it'll have to put in Miscellaneous.

Now, if you'll excuse me.... I'm off to cough up some bacteria and sneeze out some snot.

Depends on what do you mean by your threads, though the Org currently has a bunch of places already that might serve your purposes.

The Frontroom is the primary (safe) humor hall - family-friendly area though. The Kingdom of Peace and Love always welcome friendly patrons.

The Backroom is where raunchier humor (though still worksafe and within the rules) can go. Don't worry, we don't bite. Most of the time.

The Monastery is for historical discussions. You can make your historical jokes there of course if it fits the thread.

The Mead Hall is where more creative humor (i.e. fictional accounts, funny stories you write on your own, etc.) goes.

Based on your decription, I would say either the Monastery or the Backroom, depending on the content. Humor about military history is still commentary about military history and thus I would say it belongs in the Monastery. However, if some of your jokes are excessively controversial, the proper place for them would be in the Backroom. I would post first in the Monastery, with subscript to Kraxis and CBR to move them to a different forum if they think they do not properly fit that forum.
