Thread: Dead bodies all look the same

I think there should be different bodies littered on the ground after a battle. The only ones that are different are cavalry and infantry. All infantry are the same and all cav are too. Wouldn't it be cooler to have a dead sprite for each type of unit. Like one for ND, YS, SA, WM, etc. This would add a cool effect to the game and some more realism.

    Any thoughts on this...

Magyar is right. Dead is dead! Who cares now that you can't use them?

yea i was kinda disappointed in the corpses. they ARE different sprites (i KNOW that all the corpse sprites aren't the same) but they all have the same color scheme (rebels and ronin).

i don't really care and it doesn't really take anything away from the game, except for a tad bit of realism.

As Homer once said to Bart: "don't hassle the dead, boy; they have eerie powers..."

Ah realism, what a joy it would be to see realism in multiplayer games, instead of facing the usual lines of muskets backed by stacks of honour 0 warrior monks.

I'll have to wait and see what happens in multiplayer with the expansion.

When we are referring to the silent majority, are we talking about the dead? (sorry Billy Macnully)

And what is a dead sprite exactly?

This would be a nice feature... to be able to impale the dead to strike fear into the enemy formations. Seeing their comrads hoisted on on stakes would surely cause all the rabble to rout and flee like whipped dogs...

So if i understand correctly, high voltage is asking for a different "fizzy drink left out for too long" for each type of unit, adding a cool effect to the game and more realism. One unit would have a coke, another a pepsi or seven-up etc...

Maybe good for some $$$$ for the publicity, but i don't think that would add realism to the game (a warrior with a drink pepsi banner).

Solypsist is right, it is frivolous.
