    Opera, comes with the browser under Extras -> E-Mail and Chat accounts...
    I'd gladly help if anyone doesn't know how to set a client up, I had it working in Trillian(some long time ago), mIRC, Opera and Chatzilla. The Java Chat is pretty bad in comparison to all of these if you ask me.
