    Default historical literature

Can anyone recomend a good translation of Julius Caesar's "Gallic War", "Civil War", "The Alexandrian War", "The African War", and "The Spanish War"?

The one I fell in love with is that translated on the classics.mit.edu site.
Officially by W.A. McDevitte and W.S. Bohn.

Caius Caesar is the closest I have ever come to hero worship.

For the Alexandrian War, there is a translation published by Penguin books, which is pretty good. I am not at home, so I do not have the full data available, unfortunately).
For a small country, we have kicked some really good (naval) butt...
