The Baktrians got a nice reform, much to my suprise, and I could only say....HOLY CRAP! Their generals look so damn badass in that gruesomely frightening armor!

If I were on the battlefield at that time, I would shit in my pants at the sight of Bactrian elite hetairoi-cataphracts charging to me with their demonic facemasks on.

I think I will agree with you, they are terrifying! Unfortunately, there are few numbers of them...

Which makes them all the more terrifying, I guess. It's a pity about their availability. On the bright side,if your family members are fertile, in something like 25 years you will see a LOT of them...

Well, try to tell that to anybody who met Bactria as a blue giant who already crushed Saka, Pahlava, most od Sauromatae and all of former Arche Seleukeia, especially if that unfortunate player plays as Sa´aba and meets them in Assyria ...

They're cool they can really imbalance things in a battle. Playing as Baktria I had in my right flank one of these and one of regular Katas. Needles to say where the enemy army started to rout (vs Pontus)...

My dear Kari is another female member of this forum who carved a nice Sa´abyn empire while being spammed by endless flood of Bactrian cataphracts. Saaba however is not know neither for her phalanxes nor for her heavy cavalry.

BTW - Once in her game a funny story occured when the AI has apparently trained a recruitable general who afterwards has lead a full stack army at her last outpost in India. So she sent an assassin to kill him. The assassination succeeded.

The followers of the murdered general, however, had not dispersed in grief as expected, but elected another one among themselves to lead the army onwards.

This one was murdered too by Saabyn cutthroat.
