I think it just discriminates between the Inbox and Sent Items, don't think you can make your own folders.
It might make sense if you have a lot of message space and are active in several different discussions, games etc. but since I can store only 125(and hardly get any PMs) it's not a problem for me.

and can make much more if need....

Oh noes, I looked at it but then saw it was under "Subscribed threads" which made me think it doesn't have anything to do with PMs.
Wait...now there are two and they're different...I'm slightly confused but that's ok.
