Stage one we say nothing is going to happen.
Stage two, we say something may be about to happen, but we should do nothing about it.

Colbert, who plays a pompous conservative talk-show host on "The Colbert Report" and recently tried to run for president as a Democrat, went to great lengths to persuade Smithsonian Institution officials he was worthy.Figures that CNN would think he's a conservative.
Reinvent the British and you get a global finance center, edible food and better service. Reinvent the French and you may just get more Germans.
