So I'm still having the problem of the hellenic peices not showing up on the campmap, and decide to do some looking and messing with some things, such as deleting the vikings folder, or going into the 'Hellenic' or 'ALEX' folders and copy and pasting the contents into the peices rootfolder, still have the castles showing up on the camp map; I think I'll just take the L on this one, have yet to test if the Assyrian chariots still bring a CTD as I just installed the mod a few minutes ago.
Edit: after installing ATW 2.6 I can confirm that the CTD when right clicking Assyrian chariots is no more.

When setting up a custom battle in the Chariot Age my game immediately crashes. I have full armies set to the highest unit size; I assume one of these settings is the problem?
I can't honestly recall, but I think custom battles don't work in this one. More to the point, I can't remember whether I fixed it in the end..... something to do with the number of factions or maybe the FacShield folders....
Anyway, all units are unscaleable, the only effect changing that setting will have is to allow more men per stack.
At what point in the process does the crash occur? Is it straight from the 'custom battle' link, the era link or the faction selection?

Well, it was as soon as I started the battle. However, after reinstalling it a few times, the battles tend to work now? It's very strange. I may have just installed the whole mod incorrectly the first few times.
