Some stuff I found

So I started my Saka Rauka VH/VH campaign like 1 1/2 month ago and saw some interesting stuff.

The only real bad bug I met was CTD when Carthage capital rebel, but here's some others.

1) The late Saka Bodyguard on the "Units trained/retrained" page pop-up has it's own unit picture. But when I open the unit profile to read it I see a peasant.

2) On the battlefield the late Saka Bodyguard has bows and arrows on his saddle, yet he can't shoot.

3) The Parthian Noble Cataphract, or some unit I forgot the exact name, is labled "Horse Archer" in the info box during battle yet it can't shoot.

Ah yeah and I won the campaign. I actually wanted to post this like a month or more ago but there's some problem with registeration.

for #3- its just for realism- IIRC, they did use them, but use thier spears and swords much more often, so they chose to use those & not the bows

Well... then why label it "missile cavalry"?

The label "missile cavalry" means it should shoot missiles.

This isn't the name of the unit, it's the unit type label "light cavalry, heavy cavalry that sort".

That label helps the AI making up formations, which admittedly it is not very good at.
EDIT: The bow etc. depicted on the unit is because the unit in real life would have used aforementioned bow and arrows; but also its lance and second side-arm. The problem is, however, that RTW only allows for 2 weapons per unit, and the descision was made to keep the lance & second side arm - and reduce the bow and arrows to mere decoration.
