Portugues! Perfectly understandable in its written form for anyone who can speak a bit of French or Italian or Spanish or Latin.

But if a Portugese person speaks it all you hear is :"shshachichchshshsjaung"
Brazilians pronounce it a bit "cleaner", so they more understandable..

yes, you can understand written form for much of the romance languages, but for me the most incredible understandable (in the written form) language i just discovered thanks to internet, it's Catalan, sometime i go to read the catalan wikipedia pages just for fun, it seems like someone who is writing in dialect... (id like to hear someone speaking in catalan, just for curiosity)

anyway Portugese it's among the most musical romance language (behind the French for me... )
