I believe that Fox News said it had "Full nudity", not "Full frontal nudity". So they were not incorrect about that.
It's true, it does have full nudity, albeit not full frontal nudity. And it does have graphic sex and graphic homosexuality, the tone and initiations of which are reminiscent of "Debbie Does Dallas" or any generic porno movie. They put as much of that into the game as they could without getting a kiss of death AO rating. The EA guy's defense of this point was just clever PR semantics.
I've been following this story on various sites and although it's unpopular amongst gamers to side with Fox News on this, that's what I'll do. It's a legit story to take issue with. Never before have mainstream video games had the amount of graphic sex/homosexuality in them that games like Mass Effect are bringing in for the first time ever. Fox News has every right to report on this and take issue with it.
EA guy has a point that there are some shows on on TV that are just as bad or worse than the game, but that is old news. Having that start to creep into mainstream video games like Mass Effect, is new a thing that deserves attention from the media.
I commend Fox News for having the balls to report on this despite knowing doing so would be unpopular, because these days, making any reports that are in any slight way against promiscuity, fornication, and/or homosexuality is considered "unacceptable" by society at large. I suspect the reason that the other media outlets didn't report on this is because the love the fact that Mass Effect is ushering all these things into mainstream video games.
