    Default Assassination for fun!

Love it when my assassins can train up while "thinning out" the risk to my family members from the enemy killers. Plus, it's always fun to deprive the AI of those too-easily-earned "men of the hour" they keep getting.

My game, Capo de Tutti Capi - II, starts around Feb 4 and I still need players. It's gonna be a blast -- and I can guarantee you it'll be an assassination war.

I don't know if you guys have tried this type of forum game, but Seamus's is the best of the best here at the Org. Everyone's got a role, and everyone can scheme their way to the top by forming alliances with other players, trying either to save the town or rule it, protecting people or trying to eliminate them in the night. Everyone's got an agenda and you have to figure out who to trust.

It's a great psychological game, and hey, the ideas you get on who to take out and how to save in the game you can apply to MTW2 when you're deciding which enemy to take out!

Wow, that's what I call gorilla marketing!

Reinvent the British and you get a global finance center, edible food and better service. Reinvent the French and you may just get more Germans.

Good job sneaking that in there. But I'll keep this on topic.

I love using assassins in this game. I'm currently the Russians, and I have quite a few seriously good assassins. So far, I'd say I've had probably 30+ successful assassinations (not including sabatoges). The Danish and Polish have probably lost most of their family (though they somehow keep getting more guys).

My last two kings have been rightfully named after their extreme use of assassins. Vladimir the Killer, and Miroslav the Killer. Masters of Assassins.

All I need is 2,000 more people in my assassin city, and I'll get it to a huge city. After that, I'm almost garanteed the Assassins HQ (it's already got a master assassins guild).

If only it was as easy to get a Thieves' Guild Headquarters as it is for the Assassin's.

I've never gotten an HQ (or even masters) before, as I never really paid attention to the guilds until now.

What I did with the assassins was spam them, and have them kill everything in sight. Diplomat? dead. Priest? dead. Merchant? dead. Princess? especially dead. After getting the guilds, they become much cheaper to produce and start with better stats, making them much more efficient from the beggining (and much easier to handle). I can currently produce assassins that start at level 4 or 5.

I'm trying to get a master theives in another campaign. I've spammed some spies, and I have them go into every army, non-military person, and settlement they come across. Hopefully I'll be able to beat the AI to the HQ.
