    Default marian reforms

according to the faq you need to build 6 latifundi in italy but you can only build them with a type two gov while you´re able to build type one´s in italy which is as far as I know more preffered or are you supposed to destroy your type ones and scale down to type two when the time comes?

Latifunda's can be purchased from both type 2 and 1 gov's in Italy. No reason to remove one for the other.

hmm strange in my game in capua (large city year 234 bc) I have a type 1, colonial farming and the grant of land but no latifunda available. When I check the in game building browser the square with latifunda is greyed out and it says romanized province needed as in type 2 I think. Could someone tell me where the code is for the building tree so I could check it out. I have standard eb version with all updates and only other mod I have is the strat map ships mod.

Grant of land --> Villa Rvsticae --> Latifunda

If you're relying on the building browser in game - mine doesn't seem to be fully accurate since the browser doesn't show the Villa Rvsticae as an intermediate step towards the Latifunda. It is, however, part of the chain.

Don't rely on the building browser. It doesn't show all available buildings because it does not know some of the commands used in the EDB file. Sadly, this cannot be modded. Have a look at the building trees in the [R:TW]\EB\documentation folder.

Is Capua big enough? Since alot of buildings in Eb can only be built in tiers, maybe you don't have a big enough governers palace or whatever it is called.
