Maybe, they did not have an organized, state-run educational system.

is there anyway that I can add an academy to my factions capital? Is it possible by adding maybe one of the Celtic teaching academy to my building roster somehow.. When I went to the desc strat folder I cannot even find the academy's listed for athens, rome, or carthage that should be shown in those city's when you start a campaign. please can somebody explain how to add an academy to my lusso capital please....

It may be that the academies elsewhere are placed by the campaign script.

If you're familiar with EDB I think you can add them in.

Well, they should. I have the description for the first level written and everything.

can somebody perhaps show me how to change the edb file. I did not necessary want it in the starting capital but in the rebel town of emporion which I plan to migrate to in the beginning and I want that city as my capital and I want a school of sorts already there. Or just make it so the lusso's can build a school in any town once requirements are met.

Suppose he hasn't read the guide...?
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
RTW file acronyms are created by taking the first letters of each word of the name. So you got to find someting called e[something]_d[something]_b[something].txt
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Incidentally there is a file which is abbreivated by EB: export_buildings.txt in the text subfolder of the data\ folder.
In any case EDB means: export_descr_buildings.txt (and ED nearly -if not- always stands for export_descr_)

Did anybody? I had always assumed schools in ancient times were privately owned.
