Should I get a PS3 or Xbox 360?

I've been thinking about this for a while now. I've saved up all my money from my Birthday and from Christmas, and already had some I'd saved up before.

As far as I can see, the Xbox 360 offers better graphics although I've heard about a few problems coming with certain versions. The PS3 on the other hand may suit me best as its better for Pro Evo games (?), but I then won't be able to get Halo 3 which I also would have liked to play.

Or are neither of them worth the money and should I just stick to TW?

Well game-wise there isn't much difference in them.
They both have overall the same graphical level, in some games the PS3 have slightly better and in others the 360 has slightly better but the difference is really tiny overall.
The 360 has more games out while the PS3 is lagging behind on that front but should be getting some good ones soon.
But the PS3 is more reliable then the 360 which is IMO very sensitive, too sensitive. Just moving an inch it while it's on can damage it.
So the PS3 can be a safe bet, an expensive safe bet while the Xbox360 is a bit of a risk(but if you are a cautious person like I'am I think you should be ok, still keep that warranty of yours) but cheaper then the PS3.

The 360 has a vastly superior games catalogue at the moment, as well as far better online architecture. I wouldn't buy a PS3 for PES just yet, as 2008 is not that great, really.

The 360s being made now have superior quality parts after that fan debacle, so you shouldn't have any worries on that front. I'd get the Elite if I were you.

Get a 360, its the best console I have ever owned. I have had one since it came out and have had no problems. I won't deny their is an alarming number of defective consoles but Microsoft has given out an extended warranty on all of them, which they do hold true too.

Besides that you just need to look at the difference in sales figures the 360 has sold double what PS3 has. Xbox Live really is the superior online service of the two, granted it has its fair share of whining kids on whose voices will hurt your ears but its still quite enjoyable.

Factor in the price tag and I really see no reason why anybody would want a PS3 as stated above the two do release a lot of the same games these days. I can however think of a few Xbox unique games that really shine, depending on what you're into i.e Mass Effect and Halo 3.

I have both of them, and i'll tell you...if you want good award-wining games get the 360. The PS3 is beautiful, i'll admit, but I have 2 games for it and rarely play them. The online of the PS3 is free but it sucks, meaning it's extremely difficult to get the hang of. Xbox360 has, sure, a 50$ a year fee for online but it works great and you can do so much with it. Plus, at a few 10s of dollars cheaper (if your American) you can eaily afford games like Call of Duty 4 or the infamous Halo 3.
