In my Romani campaign, I'm hating the Sweboz.
We were allied, then they cancelled the alliance at the first occasion and attacked me. After taking one of their settlements, they agreed to a ceasefire.
They attacked me again a few turns later. I took three of their provinces, and another ceasefire was delared. After some diplomacy, they allied with me again.
Now, they betrayed me, and I'm now determined at destroying them. I didn't want to conquer Germania right now, but I guess I'll have to... damn Sweboz!

Playing as the Avernii
Filthy Traitorous Romans!!!! First they betray our alliance. Then they ally with the Sweboz so I had to constantly worry about a two front war starting. Then they bribe my Factionheir's son and his half stack of high quality mercenaries. Luckily I was building a powerful fullstack up in the Alps to conquer Patavium so I brought them and Nammeios moc Estinos down into Italia and started going ape**** on them. But the little ******** wouldn't surrender. I had to kill 3 of their faction leaders, the traitor, 6,000+ roman soldiers, 30,000+ roman civilians, and conquer the entire peninsula down to Arpi for 5 years because they wouldn't surrender. Now I'm pouring money into Italia to keep it from rebelling because I refuse to give up my hard earned territories.

I should post a pic of the campaign map. My empire is odd shaped and completely unwieldy.

I hated AS and KH for their implausible, crazy expansion in my Lusotannan campaign. Other campaigns haven't yet lived up to seeing any such kind of thing.

As Epeiros, I've been pushing through Asia Minor and into Syria, and have to wade through the infinite armies of the Yellow Annoyance. It doesn't matter how many battles I fight, the Ptolies always a 3/4 to full stack army waiting to attack my advancing forces.

They also will land an army outside Athens every two or three turns, which has really become annoying because all of my best troops have been committed to the advance east. I've resorted to devoting one of my navies to the area near Athens soley to intercept the Ptoly ships.

I cannot say i hate any of them whatever they do (ok maybe is i was in SunShadows position i could hate the sweboz but..)

I like the "yellow death" cause they are no longer mummy returns look alikes and dont have uber armour when they look naked,and dont have uber expansionist AI for nothing

I was trying to get him to a better army,send some guys with him and suddenly this rebel army pops up when i end the turn and atack me (aprox a ful lstack) and i retread,again again again and they keep folowing me until i have nothing else to do then fight them,so he died:|

Ptolemaics for me, after a while, they start to cross the desert with full stacks, and attack my forts near Leptis, i cant autoresolve, cause with the kleurichoi i always loose, so i must fight every battle... after have fought a pair of battle, usually i quit..., and the Romans cause they aren't a challenge, at last for Chartage, they just send some very mixed-up stacks of hoplite haploi, thureophoroi mercenary and peltasts, akontistai, principes and triari (both camillian and polibian), botroas, lugae etc. etc... usually they are just half stack...

The Epeiros are truly bugging me in my Romani campaign. I decided to play it by the book, and only expand historicaly. So after kicking the Epeirotes out of Italy I ceasefired them, and moved on to fighting Karthadastim and Aedui.
But of course the Epeirotes just couldn´t accept the inevitable, and started to blockade all my ports. It took me quite a while, but eventually I managed to destroy all their fleets and blockade their ports, but then they started attacking Patavium from their stronghold in Segestica. As it wasn´t time to take Segestica yet I just had to hold out against their attacks.
Then when the time came to take them out they had built up Segestica with walls adn lots of troops. I barely managed to take it after several reinforcing Epeirote armies attacked me in the back, and even after that they continued to spew armies at me trying to retake the city. I´ve slowly taken their cities so they are now down to only Thermon and Demetrias, but even now they continue to relentlessly attack me with huge armies they sould never be able to afford. Annyoing fuc*s.

Ptolies hands down. In my current Hayasdan campaign I felt confident enough to declare on the the Seleucids and had quite a good start. 5 rounds later the yellows and silvers stopped fighting and both of them turned on me. Thanks to force diplomacy I managed to keep the peace with the ptolies, but I even with that I couldn't start the war between them again.

The faction I hate the most RIGHT NOW in my current campaign? Well, I am playing as Sab'Yn and that means - of course - I am hating both the Yellow and Grey Deaths. Although, to put it more succicently... I am waging war against the never-ending heavily armored yellow rain and allied with the Grey Monster. But I am FEARING the Grey Death, b/c as we all know that whenever the Grey Death decides that I no longer amuse him AND if the Yellow Death has not already crushed me, they will come, pillage the villages, r@&# the sheep, plunder the women and make us speak boobaleegoop.

Playing with carthage i was trying my best for rome to conquer taras so that the punic wars may begin... So, i destroy the Tarantine Army.... wait for rome to beseige the city, join them since they didn't have enough strenght to defeat them by themselves.... And what do they do? They assault Corsica! I mean WTF!!! why betray me when i'm trying my best to give them Taras? they attack me 2 turns before the city gives in!

I, the mighty Shophet, hate all the damn Ptollies! And why? They attacked me out of no reason, what else? Thought they could snatch Syrthim from me, after destroying liberty of the proud hellenic city of Kyrene. Thank Baal I was there to liberate them and reestablish a free city state. Yes, I did that. Now they have to ask every turn if they can eventually build a simple sanitization in their town or erect a little monument in my honour. But at least they are no more forced to mate with their sisters.

The Yellow Ptolemies all the way.

The Seleucids are heck annoying. They send half stacks of infantry (with cavalry and archer support every so often) to attack my Saka Empire. I keep wiping out everything they send but they won't give up. The just keep sending them even when they're down to 5 settlements.

Now why are the Ptolemies more annoying? Because they do the EXACT same thing but send FULL stacks and they have TWICE as many stacks. It got to a point that the battles are so repetative I thought of dumping the stupid thing and calling victory since all that was left to do was to wait for money.

Even the Ptolies don't give me any problems. They usually fall without a whimper, or I can thrash them hard enough, because never in my campaigns have they ever come close to dominating the game.

The Ptolemaioi for me both in my last Seleukid campaign and my current Makedonian one.

A few years ago in my Mak campaign I launched a new conquest of the East led by princes Perseus and Demetrios Argeades. In the process I betrayed my long-time ally the Seleukids, and succeeded in conquering all of Anatolia up to Antiocheia itself, when suddenly I get a message from the Ptolemaioi that they want Rhodos or they'll attack. I'd taken it from the Seleukids who took it from the Ptolemaio who took it from the extinct Koinon Hellenon, so I politely responded "Give me 5,000 mnai for your rude proposal or I WILL ATTACK".

The cowards accepted, but a few turns later they besieged Antiocheia, and made a ceasefire and soon after alliance with the Seleukids so now I'm facing two very powerful empires in my dream of re-establishing Megas Alexandros' empire.

Well least now I know how Antigonus I Monopthalmus felt

in my current Ptolie campaign-the ***** Grey Death, damn spammers-I hand them their arses every time, yet they won't stop. I don't hate them 'cause they're beating me, I hate them 'cause they're BORING me.

In my last Pahlava campaign, I could have said Ptolies, but their stack spams were so laughable as to be entertaining (it's really entertaining to annihilate stacks twice my size with HAs). It was my allies the Romani...for being a bunch of useless wankers.I gave them like 3 or 4 coastal Ptolie provinces, thinking that they'd keep them busy enough to let me wipe my arse with everyone else, but no. these frickin' wankers just get their arses handed to them by a faction that I'd left with nothing, pitiful income, no MICs, no sea trade access. puhthetic

I did the same thing!
gave Kyrene to KH....
worked great till they attacked me.... Thankfully they have a pretty weak army... so they're much less of a nuisance then the Ptolies

It really does detract from the Carthaginian campaign the fact that you can take them out in the first ten years. It really really does.
