It's a temporary fix... so yes.

I don't think you needed it anyway, depending on how many turns you played it would be a good idea to restart the campaign after you replace the EDCT.

If you don't have a backup use 7zip on the 1.0 install exe to extract only the file you need.

EDCT = export_descr_character_traits.txt btw
