1- Because the state is still running peacefully although SFTSzilla keeps growing more and more.

2- Because V.A.S.T. is based out of Austin.

The hint of the oil war in Iraq is the overwhelming expenses to feed SFTSzilla, I can say, and that's all about it.

Now, ladies and gentlemen, smash your head to V.A.S.T.

Actually the band is a one-man trick. Jon Crosby (pic upper left) who was predicted to be a very good guitarist by Guitar Player Magazine at the age of 13, loves to dwell with unexpected samples, vocals (such as Benedictine Monk choir) in his songs which brought him (them) the success on songs such as Touched, Thrown Away, Falling From The Sky, Turquoise. However he is also a master at acoustic and touching songs such as Where It Never Rains, Lost, Winter In My Heart, Desert Garden, Tattoo Of Her Name, Flames. (I can nearly count the whole discography, so let's stop it here)

After releasing the latest V.A.S.T. project album named "April" in 2007, Crosby has released two solo albums called "Generica" and "Generica II" respectively. A new album on V.A.S.T. project is expected early this year.
