So RTW and MTW2 are an option soon, but I am worried that the new set up will not be able to play MTW - so I am a bit torn at the moment - I foresee being on the Apothacry boards trying to get the game going.
To loose MTW will be a great shame because it is such a great game - with the emphasis on game. I suppose when it came out it was high on the eye candy stakes but it is the gaming aspect that is so good - there is always a new challenge and I think you could replay the game over and over again and still have new things occur. To me MTW is a bit like chess - simple game, nothing special to look at but constantly intellectually challenging, always enjoyable, always surprising - if I am about to loose it, the new games have a lot to live up to.
You would not have a problem running MTW on your new machine as far as I am aware. When you do get your new computer, make sure you transfer your save games across. (of course, make sure you update & use the same versions on the new computer.)
