Thread: How do you make a screen shot?

Default How do you make a screen shot?

How do you make a screen shot of the Campaign Map? How do you make screen shots during the battle phase? Can you take multiple screen shots of a battle and then develop/view them latter? I know that you can use the Print Screen button to make a screen shot and then paste it to some image program like Paint but I was wondering if there was some cool way to do it within MTW. I did find the directory "TGAs " which says "This Folder stores your screen shots". So I was wondering if there was a screen shot mechanism within MTW that I missed.

I use Flight Simulator Screen (FSScreen) which is a free DL. I save my battles and do screen shots during the replay, which is much easier. I then post them at Photobucket. I don’t use the in game stuff.

IIRC, F2 does the job, and it saves your pics in the TGAs folder (you don't need to trawl through subfolders to find it, it's in the same folder as you find the .exe, etc).

It should allow you to take multiple screenshots at the resolution either the campaign map or battle map is at (respectively). You can do what you want with them later, no need to keep exiting and pasting into Photoshop or wherever each time you take a screenie.
I believe in a society without rules, laws and regulations. A society where there are only ideas - strict ideas that must be followed to by the letter - and any failure to comply is punishable by death. This would be no dictatorship or police state, no one would be living in terror. It would merely be a 'reassessment of one's preferences,' people living in 'not-so-optimistic security.' So, welcome, those who are 'longing to be blindly obedient and loyal, unbeknownst to them.'

Change the screenshots to JPEG or other image file as TGA's take a lot of space.
