The war council speaks... Hmm i would go east into the mediterrainen and take Sardinia and Corsica. Inhabited by ancient peoples who are descended from the same peoples that the more ancient iberian tribes hail from. Also those islands serve as a base to counter a red menace that grows in the peninsular that dominates the centre of the sea.

A three Way economic war in the western end of the med is about to begin....
As I walked through the Glenshane Pass I heard a young girl mourn
The boy form Tamlaghtduff 'she cried 'is two years dead and gone'
How my heart is torn apart this young man to lose
Oh I'll never see the likes again of my young Francis Hughes ....

That red menace Shylence speaks of is also currently bordering the Iberian Empire... let's hope they choose to go east instead of west after Liguria is conquered.

There is a pretty formidable stack in Massalia. I have a feeling the KH will be able to resist for a while.

Excellent update again Chirurgeon! Even though technically they're still around I felt like i was watching the death of the gallic empire. But Beware the sons of Aeneas and their wiley schemes. I fear that soon it won't be just the shores of africa that run read with blood. Italia to i fear will feel the sharp blade of the Iberian Empire. All hail mighty the Mighty Iberian Empire and hers sons. And may the line of Tantalos Lusotanakum be forever pure and true.

Looks good, Chirurgeon. Even if you are thrashing my beloved Gauls. Shame this isn't 1.1. Lusotana has access to so many new units in the new version. Milites Ilergetum, Shepherd Slingers, Iabarranta, Dunaminaca. Speaking of. . .

Yes, those ARE my mercenary Dunaminaca fighting Lusitanian forces. The Iabarranta are in the lower right-hand corner. Just a quick peek at 1.1

Whereas before I was looking forward to the coming Cartho War, now I await it with trepidation. If Carthage is as strong as you say ... and Rome on the move ... .

    Finished Campaigns

Looking forward to seeing what happens next. Romans or Carthaginians, what to do, what to do. Nice job, great AAR!

I had thought about that as well but the real threat to our ports is coming from Africa. Perhaps in good time they will come into our hands.

When you attack Africa, it'd be cool if you completely destroyed Kart-Hadast, and left it in ruins... teach those Carthaginians a lesson for trying to oppress the Iberians!
I had thought about just completely razing their cities to nothing and then giving them back. That would send them into the stone age for sure. Not sure If holding North Africa is something that the Iberians would have done. We shall see.
