    Default Efffect of changing capitals

    Does anyone know what the short term effects of changing the location of your capital is? Are there any short term penalties (in terms of income or order) when the capitals are moved?

    that's the whole point. The closer a city is to your capital, the less the distance to capital penalty, and so a greater order in the city's

    As far as I know, there are no short-term effects associated with the changing of capitals, but the long-term ones include the change of corruption values and more or less public order depending on the placement of the capital.
