There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

That was great, I just watched it.
Blitzer actually was over $4000 in the hole going into Final Jeopardy. They had to invoke the celebrity mercy rule and give him $1000 so he could play in the final round.
The best was when Blitzer named Jerusalem as the place of Jesus' birth- when the question was in a category where every answer had 3Es. (Hint: Bethlehem).
Also, good on Richter- he's looks like a sharp guy.
