There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

As far as I'm aware the only Maglev being used currently is Electro-Magnetic Levitation, which I guess you could say is precursor technology; the Japanese have been working on something similar to this for the next wave of bullet trains but it's still very much in prototype phase.
