Also note that I wouldn't expect six year old children anywhere to know exactly where they live and where every country in the world is. I myself couldn't tell you where Zimbabwe is on a map without any markers. To be honest, a lot(not all, mind you) of my geographical knowledge about Europe comes from playing Total War games.
Yeah, we did all that in school, even had to learn all german mountains and rivers etc. but I forgot that again in about a week. Fighting over the strategic map in a game means you look at it for hours, actually enjoy looking at it and thus learn a lot more. Especially because you actually invest some time in it. Now if I gave you a blank map of the US, could you show me where Iowa is?

Apart from the fact that he seems to know how guns work I found it pretty bad. The guy's a bad pantomime and just couldn't really make me laugh. that press people these days have no idea what they're talking about in some cases was obvious before and explaining one picture in such length as some sort of gun-nut instructional video isn't really funny IMO. It also seemed a bit like he was making fun of political correctness and people from other nations so I wouldn't be surprised if that guy was some sort of closet racist.(note, that's just a thought )

Exactly. People joke so much about US public knowledge of world geography, but quite a few would struggle to locate most states in the US or almost any country outside the EU.

Although: "Holland? That's in Denmark, right?" on holiday stung a little.

Hans Teeuwen, a popular Dutch comedian, is interviewed bij De meiden van halal, young Muslim ladies in traditional garb trying to show how multicultural they are and Holland should be by interviewing famous Dutch people and in particular politicians. Teeuwen made fun of them in a rather rude song at a public speach, and in this interview they accuse him of being an insulting person. They shouldn't have. In this debate he shows just how stupid they are and in passing what hypocrits certain Muslims are, who claim insult from a comedian while simultaneously insulting gays. If you can understand Dutch, it's an absolute riot.
