Unfortunately, it isn't the best reply. It seems focused on hijacking the bandwagon a little to have his own views across then trying to get at the underlying spirit of Emma Watsons message. He spends time soap-boxing about radical feminists attempting to bomb him then trying to really come to terms that the feminist movement should be more inclusive of men and in some ways, chastises this saying "women should be more independent".
I don't think he has missed the point, I think he is purposefully deflecting from it and that is being intellectually dishonest.
