Mafia - Hosting Queue v. II

It seems like interest in mafia gaming is dropping at the moment. The smalls and minis don't really seem to drag down the big games and they do provide an outlet for those seeking immersion. On the other hand, it seems like many people are a bit reluctant to be in two large games at once.

Therefore, I'll try out an experiment/install a temporary summer regime.

From now on, the limits will be as such: only 1 large game and 2 small games at the same time, no more limits on the number of mini mafia's.

I would agree, we've hit another time of slow down.

Those of us who have been here through and through, I do hope shall stick around, even though the Mafi 1 vets seem to be floating away.

We'll be fine.

Worst-case scenario, we're stuck in this funk for a few months until ETW comes out. Either way, at least some of those players will make their way here.

-edit- And pever, once you become moderator of the ETW forum you can oh-so-subtly influence people to come on over too, so that's a plus.

This is true for me. I will only participate in one game at a time, and often want a breather between games as well.

I would actually like to join a mafia game. I dont have any interest in the giraffe/school themed one, though. A normal mafia game would do.

Join Midgard, which is being hosted by Sigurd. I didn't play in the first one myself, as I was not yet a member at this site, but it was, by all accounts, a heck of a game. And of course, my game is coming up here pretty soon too...

I think the viking theme is throwing me off. I think I need bland old mafia stuff for my first game.

Hmm. I'm honestly not sure when the next 'pure' mafia game will be. We're currently unawares as to the style of game that Sarathos will run. Mithrandir's game will apparently revolve around camels, but I'm not certain as to whether or not the actual rules will be in the 'vanilla' format. I have no idea what Fenring's game will be like, as he has not, as far to my knowledge, hosted a game yet. As for my game, well, I like to keep secrets and surprises for my participants.
