Like Husar I have no one to give anything too, so I'm not participating![]()
The fiance and I are planning to bake Valentine's cookies together on one of the weekends close to the day. I have a few neighbors I've been meaning to show some attention, and home-made cookies seem a great (and not too commercial) way to accomplish that, while spending some quality time together. I'm also planning to give her a jug of pure maple syrup (perhaps not the most romantic gift, but when I discovered she'd never had any I made it my mission to change that), but that's to be a surprise, so don't tell her . . .

I went a slightly easier route - bought a big lump of chocolate (in a heart shape, of course) last month, and told her to save it. As soon as we have time, I'll melt it into chocolate "fondue".
That and I'll probably get her some little things as well - we don't make a big deal out of it, just get each other some very small gifts.
