    Default War Wagons

Are we ever going to get the War wagons in a patch or expansion?

Probably not. It's a crying shame.

That's too bad, since they are so similar to the carrioco and cross units

They worked like a mobile fort. Bit like the wagons the settlers sometimes used in the west to defend the convoy. Form a ring with all the troops inside, showering the enemy with arrows, bolts, bullets or whatever... Im Medieval 2 they could perhaps be deployed like stakes and might look something like this:https://img222.imageshack.us/img222/...rwagonsaa5.jpg They allowed the great advantage of good defensive position almost everywhere. What is more, one could even have cannons inside the ring. There's been some interest in making a mod that includes war wagons but so far I've not heard that somebodys finished such a mod. I guess it's pretty hard since the devs left those wagons out in the first place.

It looks like they were planned to be implemented as far as I can tell.

You can find War Wagon infantry in the EDU such as "CE Wagon Fort" and "Gulay Gorod" and presumably "Hussites". While additionally one of the terrain features you can lay down in the Battle Editor is circle of quite authentic looking war wagons.

I can only assume they ran out of time.

Just an idea! Put your horsearchers or horse skirmishers to make a cantabrian circle. Then put your infantry inside the ring. I guess it looks very much like a defencive ring war wagons. Looks like we will have to settle with this right now..

I wish y'all would stop taunting me with discussions of war wagons. I would so much like to have them and a playable Hussite factiona with a reformer religion, I'd pay 50 bucks for an expansion or mod just for them. (I'd probably pay more.)
