Tribute?

It seems like a factor left out of the game which I think would be nice to have. If you are a very weak faction and another faction is about to overrun you, then give them tributes to keep them happy and hopefully buy you some time. Or if you are powerful yourself then demand tribute or destroy the weak factions. Maybe a way to help your allies and make a better relationship. I think it would be interesting.

It would also be interesting to have vassel states who give tribute and money for protection from another faction. The Golden Horde consisted mostly of vassels instead of an actual empire, as did some of the other factions.
