Default Kingdoms Security Issues and Registry Cleaners

I've been reading the forum threads regarding the Kingdom security registry embed (I use "embed" for lack of a better discription). Wouldn't a registry cleaner remove it, or at least given you the option to do so?

No. SecuROM copy protection installs a shell extension that prevents Windows Explorer from deleting 16-bit executables. Uninstalling the game doesn't remove it. You have to use specially designed 3rd party SecuROM removal programs. I don't know if these 3rd party programs actually completely remove SecuROM.
