Its because all private games are hidden from view, except the ones you create yourself.

I've never played this before, but I'd be interested in having a go as England.

But before I sign up, a few questions:

1. How long on average do games take? (eg one hour or twenty, just a rough idea)
2. are they played straight through, or would we log on at different agreed times?

If its not too time consuming, I'd like to take over Europe as the UK.

Look at it yourself , I would say that France owned Italy, Austria, UK, Germany and possibly Russia if the game continued.
