just as the Yehuzi emerging if certain requirements are met, is it possible for there to be a full stack of jewish spearment and such to spawn and besiege jerusalem around 164 bc?
im thinking they will only spawn if you destroy the temple, and is owned by the AS, and taxes are set to high or above.

Sorry HG, it isn't you; just this topic. The Maccabees were around before the temple destruction. Their appearance was a result of a self-Hellenization of Jerusalem by a group of Jews (a nuevo riche IIRC). This result to the Hellenization would have been the same whether the Ptolemies, Antigonids, Seleukids, or any one else would have been in control.

I could see a stack of rebels or revolt in the region of Judea for the destruction of the temple, but there is no reason for them to be the Maccabees; nor is there a reason to have time devoted to an "emerging" faction.
