    Thumbs up Re: Flightsticks

Now if it was a Lancaster bomber I would suggest a mix of Commonwealth beers starting with something Canadian.
Our genes maybe in the basement but it does not stop us chosing our point of view from the top.

This is going to end up being the Beerware Forum.

As to your statement of Canadian content, I would suggest a Trois Pistoles. (I just finsished one.) A strong 9.5% black beer. Very tasty, yet I would not suggest having one per engine with a Lancaster. You`d be in the ditch by the third start up.

Ahhh, another fresh flightsim thread! Might as well post and gloa^H^H^H^H extoll the virtues of my Cougar HOTAS setup. Best money I ever spent on flight gear.

As for drinking and flying... I didn't want to clutter up my imageshack, but what the hell.

Yes kids, that's airspeed in knots.

Haha, beer and flying. What could possibly go wrong?

As of personal beer preferences: give me a Baltika No 6, a russian 8%. Drinks easy, hits hard.

I've looked at all the alternatives that have been proposed, and i'm leaning towards the Saitek X52 package. It's about 90 USD, almost the same price as Beirut's Evos, and comes with a specific throttle...

Does anyone have experience with it? Is it good?

Are you talking about the X52 or the X52 Pro?

Both are good. The Pro version is better.

And where, pray tell, can you get it for $90? It's more than twice that here and our money is close to par.

Sure. Amazon.com is the schpot. It was the X52 I believe, and yes, it was discounted something like 20% for whatever reason. Pre St Patrick's day miracle?
