    Default Switching factions during gameplay?

I remember I found instructions, I think by Epistolary Richard, on how to modify Rome to where you could switch factions during the game.
It worked on the older build of EB but some of the files were removed so it doesent work anymore Does anyone know how to do it with 1.0?

Do you mean switch in a saved game? I.e. start as Rome then switch to Carthage after 10 years.
Otherwise you can always switch by starting a new game, but end the programme and start from scratch or you will find or your govt buildings damaged in the origional game, I beleive this is a known bug.

Thumbs up Re: Switching factions during gameplay?

I would like to know this, too.

I'm a big fan of Paradox games like Europa Universalis, Hearts of Iron, etc. and thought it was nifty that you could - for example - play as France for a few years, save the game, then reload the save and pick a different country to play.

Can it be done in RTW/EB?
    Thx.

The governments will be screwed up if you switch factions, not just by damaging them but permanently.

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.

I do NOT answer PM requests for help with EB. Ask in a new help thread in the tech help forum.
