Thread: nooB question

    Default nooB question

Getting ready to install EB after hearing how good it was...

After I install EB can I still play the "vanilla" version of RTW?

Also, will I still be able to use Barbarian Invasions?

In theory, yes. Some people report that they no longer can start vanilla after installing EB, but there is no technical reason for it (that I can understand). A lot more people report that they cannot bear to play vanilla due to aversion afterwards, though.

Having problems getting EB2 to run? Try these solutions.

And to add with regards to Barbarian Invasions, to which the same applies. You can also use the RomeTW-BI.exe to run EB, which improves naval capabilities of the AI somewhat. But bear in mind that EB is developed for RTW v1.5

There can be, which is easily avoided by installing RTW and EB to a folder different from the "Program Files" directory.
