I'm Spain. I started a crusade to an almahod province, and in the next turn the germans did too. We ended up in the province in the same year. So far so good. However when the battle starts, the german crusade is my enemy?? We were not enemies prior to this battle. So I had to downfight the German crusade and the Almahods in the same battle. Why did they both attack me while ignoring the other?? Fun and entertaining, but isn't it more natural that the two Crusades were allies in this? Historicly that must surely have been the case if two crusader armies went to the same place?
After the battle however, the Germans and I are somehow not in war. And if I end the battle before anything has been settled, the two crusades redraws and peacefully co-exists in my neighboring province, despite the fact they just had faught each other.
I understand that some kind of mechanism to settle who's the owner of the province is needed, but can't that be done after destroying the muslim army, and maybe in a more peaceful manner(not that i don't like a fight!)? For instance; they share the income from pillaging, but the faction with the biggest remaining army gets the province. The other one gets shipped to the closest province of that faction, or somthing...not so fun though...
Maybe something for a future patch?
