Can't get EB to work on Alex.exe

I still haven't able to get the game to load. Only got to the point of loading EB with Alex but the game campaign won't load.

rome-alex.exe mod:eb show err


what are the necessary steps and changes to get the game to run on Alex.

Have you tried RTW 1.5 already? Surely you ought to verify that your installation works on the default platform (and in the process create yourself a fall-back option) ?

Otherwise: to get help, best to either ask for help in the ALX minimod thread or to PM Maksimus or other people who use ALX.

Right click on the EB10 desktop icon, select Properties. Change the Target

from;
"C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\RomeTW.exe" -mod:eb -show_err

to;
"C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\RomeTW-ALX.exe" -mod:eb -show_err -noalexander -nm
