    why not just have a ship icon like in M2TW where you can control an AI army a bit and you direct the fire like that? I think it is 100% possible.

    me too, it should be easily do able and it seems that everyone so far has enjoyed the idea.While we are on the idea of naval battles and amphibious assaults, why cant you sail up rivers?
    that would be an excellent addition.

    I'd say maybe if there were more like the campaigns in Kingdoms or only certain ships could make it up and down the rivers.
