    what was the name of constantine the great's legion, oh and it's number too.

    please be more precise: which legion? in which battle? guess he didn't have only one (for example, at the battle of the milvisian bridge he had about 50.000 men.

    First of all, his army was made of Foederati and Numerii, and the only legions he may had with him where those stationed in Brittania at that time, maybe XX Valeria Victrix and II Augusta. But remember that Emperor Diocletianus had already begun the reforms that would spawn the Palatina and Comitatensis reforms.
