That's meant to be like that.
The desert in the middle is a useless terrain, it's vast, dry, and overall lacking in resources. A King would not stand up and say
'I control lots of sand!'
It's useless, ignore.

'My name is Ozymandias, king of sand. Look upon my sands, ye mortals, and despair!'

If you search the desert for 40 days, you might find something.

I think computer viruses should count as life. I think it says something about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is purely destructive. We've created life in our own image. - Stephen Hawking

I think he was referring to Jesus.

Indeed it was a reference to Jesus' wandering the desert. And a joke, of course.

Yeah, it was a joke, but I wasn't referring to Jesus. He may have spent forty days in the wilderness being tempted by the devil, but that hardly was what I meant. My reference was to the Biblical Exodus, which resulted in forty YEARS of wandering. Enough time to cover Eremos, perhaps.Originally Posted by bovi
